Counterpart

Grow the product you built.

Find someone who understands your customers. Agree the work, compensation, access, and evidence before starting a paid commercial engagement.

Publish an honest offer

Describe what works today, the support you will provide, and the scope you need covered. State a monthly fee, commission, or both. Define eligible collected revenue and attribution. Development projects remain closed to applications.

Start with acceptance

An invitation is a pending offer, not the start of work. The counterpart reviews the exact saved agreement and accepts it. The trial clock starts then. A separate agreement is required to continue beyond the trial.

Pay what is earned

Review collection evidence promptly. Record payments with references and let the counterpart acknowledge receipt. Ending the role does not cancel accrued compensation or an agreed pipeline tail.

Choose a cofounder deliberately

After the trial, you can record a separately signed cofounder instrument. It must identify the entity, share class, units, capitalization basis, approvals, vesting, and departure terms. A sales entry never grants ownership automatically.
